I've come to realize that a period is not merely a handy way to make sure you're not pregnant. Oh no. It also serves as an excellent form of birth control. All you have to do is go through one and ask yourself, 'Self, do I really want to go through nine months of that?' Simple really. Now if you excuse me, I must go curl up and be in pain.
