(no subject)
Despite the snow, I actually had a pretty spiffy Valentine's Day. Totally single, sure, but where's the bad in that? I helped mom make steaks (which we so oversalted...), then spent the rest of the day lazing about.
Have now seen through episode eight of Battlestar Galactica and it's getting gooooood. I'm still very much in love with Laura Roslin - she gets my vote, for sure. At first I was a little puzzled at my fascination with my other BSG favorite - Gaius Baltar. Then, I realized he's basically Andrew given a genius intellect, and all became clear.
Other good things include the cat having to stay inside all day and spending most of it curled up next to me, dad finding discount truffles at Shaws (yes, the discount makes them even tastier), and my getting a totally random surprise bouquet in the middle of the day. No idea who it was from, but whoever it is, they're someone who knows me well enough to know I like carnations.
Plans for today? Not that different from yesterday, only with more Farscape. I'm going to have a hell of making up the two appointments I canceled, but driving anywhere's not a possibility at the moment, and parking is even less of one.
