Observations on assigned reading

Overusing the words 'patriarchal' and 'hegemony' in your article is not a good way to make me take you seriously. It's an excellent way, however, to make me chalk you up as one of those feminists - the kind that give the rest of us a bad name. There may even be good points in there, but if they're buried under the virulent polemic, I'm going to be rolling my eyes too hard to care.
