Short Intercon I Rundown
All's Well That Ends
A fantastic game - I can see why this GM team comes so highly recommended. They were both wonderfully friendly and fantastic at giving everyone plenty of plot. I only wish it ran on Saturday night, instead, when I had more energy.
Iron GM
wired_lizard and I had a blast running Lifeline - the fact that we had seriously awesome players helped. We didn't win, but apparently the overall point spread was so close I'm none too grieved about it.
Dreams of Peace, Dreams of War
Objectively, this was a good game. Subjectively, it was intensely gamist in its nature, which is So Not My Thing. I did my best with it, but the combination of no personal connections between the characters (only political ones) and my playing a character with no freakin' resources didn't lead to the best experience.
Tithing Times
Sadly, this game doesn't even have the excuse of 'wrong genre.' It was just meh. I think I was playing a secondary character, so I had no connection to the plot. I wound up sticking my nose in other people's plots and ultimately deliberately screwing myself over for a scrap of conflict. Meh.
Time Travel Review Board
This, on the other hand, was hilarious and made of pure win! I couldn't have been better cast and I enjoyed every second of it. Even having some down time meant I got to watch the Board's antics. Quite possibly my favorite game of the con - and for someone who tends to prefer serious games to comedy ones, that's saying something.
