Finally figured out how to properly utilize the Hidden Temple. One more day and a bag of chips, and the Bonerdagon is mine.

Note to self for the future: get the herb quest before completing Friars' Gate and various sections of the Cyrpt. It's a right pain in the arse otherwise.

To be honest, I mostly do the miscellaneous (non Council or Guild) quests just to get the little notation under 'other accomplishments'. I didn't even know what the reward was till now. Still, it's being a right pain in the arse.

*giggles* It took me a few dozen readings to get it right. I read it as 'Bonedragon' at first, if it makes you feel any better.

Those aren't all saved from Ascension to the next, though -- some are (like passing the Ghost of the English Language's test) but the little quests like Dr. Hobo's map and the herb quest aren't.

Well, "Bonedragon" would be the correct spelling. ^_~

Huh. That's disappointing. I might complete the darn thing anyway, since I have everything but one shysterweed. Of course, the Cemetary now has an all-new lineup, so I might not even be able to get anything out of it anymore. Phooey.

And to update - Bonerdagon has been 0wnzed. His skull makes a nifty belt buckle. Now, to mine some stuff...

Unfortunately, the herbs are quest items -- I never completed it last time because the shysterweed was such a @#$@ pain in the ass, so I had most of them left over -- but like all quest items it vanished when I ascended.

BTW -- before you ascend, go to the Untinker's Cottage and have him untinker ALL of the quest items you can. The pieces are usually just normal items, and if you untinker them you'll be able to complete those quests instantly on your next run.

Also, did you want me to send you the Dangerous Item You'll Need Later That's a Huge Pain to Acquire?

Already untinkered the Bitchin Meatcar. And *tinkered* the Belt of Badassery (which moved it out of quest items and into equipment.)

Which item is this? I'm trying to be good about spoilers - just looking up hit stats and the like. The only item I know for sure you need at the end is the wand.
