Fandoms: Doctor Who (new and classic), Torchwood, Buffy, Angel, Babylon 5, X-men, Firefly. If you can think of any others, ask. I reserve the right, however, to abstain, if I've grown too far from the fandom in question, or was never really in it to begin with. Obviously, my opinions are subject to change, if I haven't seen/read the full series.

No tagging, but anyone who wants to do this should feel free. Like there's anything stopping you anyway. *g*

I would be interested in hearing what unpopular Firefly opinions you might have. :)

Classic Who! And hell, Buffy for good measure.

Ohh, a difficult one.

1. I think Mal and Inara should get over themselves and get together already. The will they/won't they created excellent chemistry at first, but it's a trick that wears thin.

2. Jayne is quite straight, no matter how many slash fics he winds up in, or how interesting a chemistry he and Mal have. The argument I use is actually yours: Jayne's damn obvious about being attracted to women. If he was attracted to men, he'd be just as obvious.

Classic Who
1. As of having seen "Keeper of Traken," I really have nothing against Adric.
2. Even in the classic series, nope, the Doctor's still not asexual. Sorry, purist fans. (Ok, that's not so much 'unpopular' as 'fandom split')
3. Books, audios and other spinoffs are canon, when it suits. We're in a world that deals with multiverses, so I really don't see how that's a problem.

Buffy
1. I like Kennedy. I like her relationship with Willow. I even like Riley ok, at times, though I'm not so much fond of him with Buffy.
2. In the end, Buffy shouldn't end up with either Angel or Spike. Both relationships have run their course and all three have different paths now.

I'd ask for FMA, but we haven't finished watching the series yet, so.

X-Men.

1. The Gambit/Rogue relationship was fun, once upon a time, but has since then grown to be the most unhealthy thing since the atom bomb. That said, I blame the writers rather than the characters, since there's really no in-character way to justify Rogue's behavior half the time.
2. I did, actually like the later series portrayal of Jean, but if you're gonna kill her off, just let her rest in peace already, thank you.

I had geeky parents who rigged up a crazy antenna so we could get the New Hampshire PBS station for such things.
