Drunkenness resets to 0 at "rollover" (which is usually sometime between 11 pm annd 1 am our time).

You can't, but it'll reset to zero every night. ^_^

Basically, every day you want to eat until you're full to get as many Adventures as possible, then drink until you're just short of drunk for more. (When you're actually falling-down drunk, there's little you can do of any use ... but there are some things.)

Adventures you don't use will roll over to the next day up to a certain point, too, so if you accidentally drink too much and end up with adventures you can't use you can just leave them.

When you get to level 3 join our clan. Oh, and if you can successfully guess my character name and message me I'll give you a prize. *snicker*

I'll probably try it as soon as my need to play Pokémon Pearl 24/7 subsides. Too many weird posts related to KoL have shown up on my friends page in the last month for me not to try it out.

Thanks! I guess I'm going to have to wait a while in order to play again. I joined a little after 1:00 am last night, so the drunkenness happened after the rollover point.

Yeah, I used to be really into KoL, but suddenly dropped off a few months back. It's definitely pretty fun and clever. Although every time I played I used to think about how it would bother you that the currency was Meat. :P

Hey! We met...sort of...in those other comments before. Just thought I'd throw in my two cents. KoL is definitely fun times, and it's great how it's basically self-limiting. I remember many days where I got too drunk to do an adventure and had to wait for rollover. Ah, well, eventually I learned. I started playing with my best friend last year, but sort of fell off and eventually sent him my leftover 200K meat, only to discover that he couldn't open the package because he'd gone hardcore. Brilliant!

Comments are an excellent place to meet, as far as I'm concerned. :)

The self-limits may be frustrating, but I can tell how they really come in useful. Otherwise, people would spend all day playing and their real life would go bye-bye.
