This just in: I loooathe my college applications. Whose bright idea was it that I have to go to college, anyway? Oh, right, it was mine. *whistles* Still, if I never have to write out my social security number, parents' alma maters, or guidance counselor's phone number again, it would still be too soon.
In other news, I had a decent Thanksgiving, barring the ordeal of having to be in the same building with my grandmother for extended periods of time. For those who don't know, my grandmother is a bitter, critical, selfish woman, who's always hated my Dad, been nasty to me, and didn't seem to particularly care about my Mom, either. I have never seen her do anything genuinely selfless or nice.
Ironically enough, her best friend, who was also present, is the sweetest, kindest old woman - exactly like a grandmother should be.
But cest la vie. Nobody was killed, and for that I'm thankful.
