It's Raining

Wow. This is making me really sleepy. I should go to the post office and pick up my mail, but I don't want to get wet and get sick all over again. *blinks and dozes for half a minute* Or maybe nap... No! Stay alert, or you won't be able to sleep tonight! Fight it! Stay strong! Overuse exclamation marks!

Having my Fridays be nearly free is nice, but also kind of boring. And the writing isn't going anywhere (other than to Hell in a handbasket). Maybe I should get my reading done for Monday. Which is actually a lot more exciting than it sounds, since I actually like the selections for my lit class. We're currently reading Le Fanu's "Carmilla" (i.e. the original vampire story with lesbian overtones. Whee!) Next up is Dracula, and then The Lady in White. Good stuff.

*sigh* I wish this campus had somewhere I could refill my water bottle, other than the dining hall. I'm dying of thirst here!
