To clarify: you can request anything any of the libraries within the chain have, barring specific exceptions. Unfortunately, those exceptions include all AV materials bought less than a year ago. Even more unfortunately, both Stargate: Atlantis and the new Doctor Who are in this sad, sad cattegory. They're there, in the catalog, available for checking out. But only if you live in respectively Medford or Framingham. And so, the mocking proceeds apace.
On a similar note, maybe I shouldn't be reading SGA fanfic before I so much as see a single episode.
