I just went for a walk. At five in the morning. Wearing my pajama pants (Yes, I also wore a top. Pervs). God, I love my town (one of the safest places in Massachusetts and quite possibly the country.) Could I have done this in, say, NYC? Hell no! Sadly, I suspect that years of suburban cushiness may have ruined me for real city living. Oh well.

Is it really Yom Kipur? Damn, who set up the Jewish holidays so close together?

At any rate, I have failed gloriously at the fasting thing, but I do, actually, happen to think the attonement idea is a good one. Attonement; not just appologies. So if ever I wronged you, or just plain did something stupid, please tell me what I can do to make it up. Come to think of it, this statement should really apply the year round, and not just on a designated day.
