Oct. 5th, 2006 02:47 pmThe news have just reported that there's been a gas leak at MacLean hospital. From what I can gather, their line burst. Granted, this doesn't tell me much; when I say I'm no technician, I really mean it.
What it tells my mom is that we should close all windows, even though we aren't particularly near MacLean. Paranoid? Possibly. But she was in Kiev when Chernobyl occured, so I'm willing to let her go with it.
ETA: Mom doesn't have the monopoly on paranoia, either. As soon as she mentions this incident, I start thinking that everything smells funny. Go me.
