Star Trek: TNG
Oct. 17th, 2006 08:16 pmAs mentioned earlier, I have on hand the library's copy of the first half of TNG's first season. Now, as I'm a very casual Trek fan, I'm hardly going to marathon the whole thing. Instead, I pick episodes based on these criteria:
1. The episode contains Q
2. The episode focuses on the Holodec
3. The summary makes it sound shiny/it's written by someone I like
4. Exclude episodes I've already seen, unless I remember them to be staggeringly brilliant.
These were my selections for episodes 1-16:
"Where No One Has Gone Before" (Written by Diane Duane; promising concept) [Note: Despite this story praising Wesley left and right, I actually found him non-annoying here. Am I a freak?]
"Hide and Q" (Q. Duh.)
"The Big Goodbye" (Holodec)
"Too Short a Season" (Haven't seen it yet, but the idea sounds good)
Episodes seen previously:
"Encounter at Farpoint", "The Naked Now" and "Datalore".
Now comes the real question. Am I missing out on any episodes I really should see?
