Extremely belated Blogathon post
Jul. 21st, 2009 04:16 pmYep, I'll be participating in Blogathon this year, along with
shadesong and co. I'll be blogging for the Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts. This last year's events, including the murder of George Tiller have shown us all that reproductive health and the right to choose are still a contentious issue, as well as a hugely important one. With the state of the economy as low as it is right now, the educational and medical services Planned Parenthood provides are more vital then ever, even as funding slows.
You can learn more about Planned Parenthood and its Massachusetts branch in particular HERE.
You can click HERE to sponsor me, which I sincerely hope you will. All donations, small or large are welcomed and sincerely appreciated.
Those of you who've followed me during previous Blogathons should now be familiar with the general style of my posts. I'll be posting snippets of my writing throughout the day, both fanfic and original, with some emphasis on original. Requests are wonderful and can help me out of many a tight spot. Said requests can include short fiction (how much you think I can write in a half-hour-to-an-hour), Five Things memes, rants/raves about your topic of choice, as well as other things I'm forgetting. You can comment with requests here, or on another entry I make closer to the date, as well as throughout Blogathon itself.
I'm probably forgetting something, but here goes anyway. That's what the edit post option is for. Wish me luck and please SPONSOR ME, if you can!
