Intercon Trends
Mar. 17th, 2010 03:24 pmYes, I've still got Intercon on the brain, and there's something I've noticed in the three years I've attended. Each year, there are multiple versions of a character present in multiple, disparate games at the same con. To wit:
Intercon H had at least three games that featured Jesus as a player character. Considering the theme of the con was Heaven and Hell, this is not surprising.
At Intercon I, the recurring character was Christopher Marlowe. He appeared in at least two games, both of which I was in. No, I don't know either.
This year, it was Daleks. Ok, I grant you, they're a bit of a stretch, being a malevolent mass, rather than a single distinct character, but they did appear in more than one game (in one case, to the surprise of at least one GM, or so I've heard.)
So, who's next? Come on, folks, give future GMs terrible, horrible, no good, very bad ideas.
