Today, I have achieved my greatest accomplishment in cooking: I've managed to fuck up box mac 'n cheese.

How, you ask? Let's just say that if you're heating milk and butter in a not-particularly-effective microwave, that milk's going to get film all over it. And then, there'll be filmy milk in the sauce. It was the grossest thing ever.

Ironically enough, I can make the baked mac 'n cheese from scratch, and it's delicious. It's just the box version I screw up.

You're like Akane from Ranma 1/2, except that she managed to screw up boiling water. :)

My grandmother did that once. She put a pot of water on to boil, then picked up the phone. A two-hour long conversation later, the water had all boiled out/evaporated, and the pot was pretty scorched.
