...Ten Intercon LARPs I wish would re-run

I'm starting at Intercon G, since that's the year I first began LARPing, even if I didn't attend that particular Intercon. If there's a game from before this point that you think I would really like, please recommend it in comments.

---

Contracts - [livejournal.com profile] wired_lizard played in this and raved about it later. (Intercon G)

L'Enfer C'est Les Autres - The blurb left me extremely intrigued. I want to know what's going on here, and mentions of intense interpersonal plots don't hurt. (Intercon G, Intercon H)

The Dance and the Dawn - Cause I love me some high romance, drama and intrigue. (Intercon G)

Two Hours in London - I've heard fantastic things about the last Festival run, especially. (Intercon G, Intercon J)

Alice - This game is somewhat of a cult classic by now, and I still haven't gotten to play. I'm not saying I'd be the easiest person to cast, from the sound of it, since I like having at least one character as a true and trusted partner in game, but I do like a challenge. (Intercon H)

Last Stop - Like the GMs; like the concept; intrigued by the hints of something more going on. (Intercon H)

Mystery at the Fairy Tale Reservation - Dude! Russian fairy tales! (Intercon H)

Sassy Pirate Wenches on the Island of the Stern Viking Jarls - Having played in three fantastic games by these GMs, I'm extremely excited to play in any game of theirs. Plus dude, pirates! You can't go wrong with pirates. (Intercon H)

A Midsummer Night's Dream and the Living is Easy - It sounds like fun, I'm a Shakespeare buff and I haven't had the chance to play it yet. (Intercon I as Iron GM game, Intercon J)

League of Extraordinary Hogwarts Students - I have the worst luck signing up for this game. It filled almost immediately the first time it ran. The next time, at Festival, it ran opposite a game I was GMing. The next time, again at Festival, all the female slots were full by the time I got to signups. Someday, someday... (Intercon I)

So, how about you all. What games would you like to see again?

I wouldn't mind seeing School for Young Women run again!

Seriously! It's an awesome game.

A cult classic? Wow, I'm so honored to hear you say that. Sadly the game is large enough and has run enough lately that I think it needs a break before it has another run, but I will be certain to let you know when it makes its return to the larp scene.

Totally understandable. I look forward to playing when it does return.

Hehehehehe. I love it when my random posts turn into memes.

"The Dance and the Dawn" (pretty dresses and Gothic fairy tales? Yes please!) and "A Midsummer Night" also look supremely shiny!

Huh. Two games I was a co-writer for.

I don't know about Contracts ... I don't see [livejournal.com profile] goldenoak all that often any more.

As for L'Enfer, I could see running that one again. I'd have to talk to [livejournal.com profile] blahchewy and see what he thinks.

Clearly, you're involved with awesome games! :)

Re: Contracts - sad, but understandable
Re: L'Enfer - Squee! You could get runspace at Brandeis pretty easily, too, if you run it outside of a con.

You're on a roll! Have mercy, I have finals to study for, and this is a fun distraction...

I know that feeling. Here's hoping for memes, whenever my own finals come around.

Alas, LXHS needs a break - it's run three times in the past two years in this area, and I had a hard time filling it the last time. The only way I'd consider running it again in the near future is at RPI's Minigames weekend, and that's still a big maybe.

*blushes* I am quite flattered to have a game of mine on there! I have promised another run, someday. Especially if someone lse got space and players for me, it is a very low-prod game and I can basically run it at the drop of a hat. You know, if someone wanted to do something like that. Cause they wanted to play. If you know what I mean. ;-) I know [livejournal.com profile] usernamenumber and [livejournal.com profile] captainecchi want to play...

But seriously, have been feeling weird about my my relationshui with my creative output lately, and this is a lovely ego boost. :-)

I've played 4 of the other games on there! Perhaps I shall do a similar list!

If you do, let me know. RPI's not a guarantee for me, due to travel and crashspace, but I would still love to play at some point.

It's pretty easy to get Brandeis space outside of a con. And those are awesome people to have in one's cast.

You should totally do a list!
