Happy Valentines Day to me

Today, as proof of its love and affection, my laptop decided to have a near-death experience. There was a moment when it was literally telling me that it had no hard drive. How... sweet. I spent hours on the phone with tech help, and finally ended up unscrewing the damn creature (with the screwdriver meant for my glasses, no less), and putting it back together. And hooray - for a while, it worked! For a while. I got the same 'all your hard drive are belong to us' message later tonight. Luckily, this time all I had to do was leave it alone for an hour and a half.

But yeah. I have no idea how much longer it will be before the laptop draws its final dying breath. As it is, I'm taking no chances. I'll be burning everything onto CD like, well, burning, today and tomorrow, and hoping for the best, while preparing for the worst.

Argh%^&*()*&^%^!!!

Those of you who've read Good Omens - remember Newton Pulsifer? The guy who fucked up all things technological by looking at them in a positive light? Yeah. I think he was my second cousin twice removed. What other explanation is there?

Yes, Happy Valentine's Day to you! I figure that being single, I get to say that to alll the ladies instead of just one! *nudge nudge wink wink da ne da ne* ...dammit, I'm going through Duck withdrawls again... next BR round better start soon... But yeah, your computer is evil... I mean, how am I supposed to send you all my PoT Sims skins when your computer is yelling about hard drives being...missing. Gah! I'd say more, but well, for my Valentine's Day, I get to start the Spring Semester.... and dammit all! Ya know, in theory, signing up for all the early classes sounds fun, but now, I'm already missing sleeping in... Good luck with the computer problems!

.....okay, enough caps. Good Omens reminds me of my mother; I started reading it when she was visiting and she was bored so I gave her the book to read on the plane home. Also, she saw me reading boy pr0n of it. >.> <.<

Good luck with your computer!!! You're probably doing okay so far; you opened it without it completely shorting out... Just be careful adding more RAM to laptops; last time I did that my laptop exploded. Literally. >.

Mom said the book was interesting and the pr0n wasn't that bad.. but why was I reading pr0n about them anyway? Why would I want to put Crowley and Aziraphale (sp??) together in the first place? --ARG I don't want to justify my fangirlness-- at this point, it just -is-. :P (I did find a good Good Omens drabble about Pepper and Adam once on ff.net, actually.)

Better question is: why wouldn't you?
