I was downloading Sukisho 10 just now, when my BitTorrent suddenly spiked. There's no other word for it. It was going at 1,500 or so kb/s. My download went from two percent to 72 percent in two minutes. Then, it died back down to 4kb/s, but STILL!

Using similar programs when I was in college, that meant that someone on the same network (the school network)was downloading at the same time, so it goes really fast. I was downloading from a hotline server and was able to find the person's computer on the school network and didnt have to wait on queues anymore.

Yeah, that's most likely what happened, since I know at least two other people on campus are downloading it at the same time.
