Squee! Not having seen the show (only about umpteen of those fecking posters), I look forward to hearing your feedback and perhaps catching a glimpse myself in the (brace yourself, now) foreseeable future.

Well, here's what I know so far: My computer thinks the DVDs are the wrong region. (Bobby having new teammate issues? Most likely.) Consequently, I actually had to watch the first episode on the TV, using the actual full-size DVD player, which I haven't done in about a year. Amazing, I know.

As for the first episode itself, I liked! It's fairly faithful to the book, but updates the events to have the story happening around twenty years later, so that the main action of the series takes place in our time. I really like how they've adapted things, and some of the lines are hillarious. I also quite like Johnny and Sarah. So yeah, a definite keeper.

Of course, I was then kicked off the TV before I could watch episode 2.

Yay! Show has promise, then. Will you share the wealth when we get back to school? (I, in turn, will subject you to Dark Angel, and - in due course - more Evo.)

I'll do my best. First, I have to figure out how to copy DVDs. I've got the regular data disk function down, but the rest is a mystery, so far.
