Divided neatly into good idea/bad idea categories.
Good Idea
Jack O'Neill [SG1] - Just. Guh! Man makes fraternization sound like the world's most appealing option. Ever.
Mal Reynolds [Firefly] - The pretty flowered bonnet sold me. Or it would have, if the man didn't already have me from hello.
Tara McLay [Buffy] - She's one of those people I know I'd love knowing, and she's beautiful in a very real, non-modely way.
Charles Gunn [Angel] - Dammit, I will not psychoanalyze my desire to lick his head. Plus dude, "Three Little Maids".
Alaric Morgan [Deryni] - No single person should ever have that much charisma. *melty puddle o' Lily*
Roy Mustang [Fullmetal Alchemist] - On the condition that I get *him* in a miniskirt, of course. *g*
Bad Idea
Mystique [X-men movieverse] - The woman can literally be anyone. Her badass-ness and dedication are the real draw for me, though. Yes, those are prolly the traits that'd get me killed. Ah well.
Faith Lehane [Buffy/Angel] - Would we get along, in real life? Noooo. Can I deny the hot? Noooo.
Rupert Giles [Buffy] - Ok, the man has enough issues and demons for a full cast, but I dare you to listen to him sing and not fall for him a little.
Ohtori Akio [Utena] - There's 'bad idea', and then there's Akio, who needs his own category of hyuuuge bad idea. Only go for this one knowing *exactly* who he is.
Arisugawa Juri [Utena] - Is there any single Utena character who'd quallify as a good idea, at all?
Conclusions and Observations
Voice is key.
Rebellion is a turn-on.
Age is no object - so long as the character's older than me.
...How'd I wind up with a millitary fetish?
A few characters aren't on the list cause coming between them and their SO would be *wrong*. Case in point, Wash and Zoe [Firefly]. Now, if we're talking happy fun threesome...
Two others aren't on the list cause I haven't actually seen their series yet. Rodney McKay (Stargate: Atlantis) and Jack Harkness (Dr. Who).
