"I'm not drunk, I'm just tipsy"

Went out last night to celebrate the whole strange 'Somebody Actually Wants My Sorry Ass' phenomenon (see Friday's post), with my mother and a friend of hers, who has really been an angel, helping me with the college process. We went to a restaurant in Harvard Square, and got dinner, and then to the Spinnaker, on top of the Hyatt for desert. No, I wouldn't be able to afford either, under normal circumstances. I had a glass of white wine with dinner, and an Irish coffee with desert.

Lesson of the night: I'm a giggly drunk who talks too much. On the plus side, I hadn't slept so well in months!
