mllelaurelI've decided I'm not actually going to be doing NaNoWriMo this year. Mostly because after last year's, it took me at least several months to look at the story and characters I'd been working with, without puking.
However, I've decided to try something similar. Would it be possible for me to produce 50,000 words of fic, by the end of November? Since I'm not the fastest of writers, I'm even giving myself a leg up and including fic written before November, provided they're in the current fandom.
The count so far:
"In the Absence" - 3,483
"Important if True" - 1,578
"Two-way Street" - 312
"Aliens" - 208
"Before the Dawn" - 1,917
"Scrapings" - 2,507
Plus unfinished bits and bobs, which I won't be counting just yet.
Total: 10,005/50,000 words
Verdict: Meeting goal possible but unlikely. Oh well.
