In other news, only thirteen days left till "Runaway Bride" airs. (Yes, that day also happens to be Christmas. I have told you how efficient my family is about holidays, haven't I?)

Last year's DW Christmas special has jacked up my standards something fierce. "Christmas Invasion" is one of my absolute favorite episodes in the new Doctor Who series. So here's hoping its successor is just as good. And if it's better? Let's just say I'd be comfortable with that, too. ^_^

Wheee!!! A reason to look forward to Christmas! (Although I won't get to see it till at least the day after, but still- yay!) OMG is it only two weeks away? EEK! For the record? I see no way anything called "Runaway Bride" could be better than the Christmas Invasion- but I'd be glad to be wrong.

It'd be a tough job to pull off, that's for sure. But then, I didn't expect much from "Christmas Invasion" initially, either. Christmas specials have this tendency to be twee crap. To see the episode then surmount every cliche and surpass every expectation warmed the cockles of my cynical little heart. Here's hoping "Runaway Bride" does the same.

It's so sad that my main event for Christmas day will probably be trying to dodge spoilers, since the special will air around 2 pm, my time.

And my Christmas will have to be spent staying off LJ, since I can't see it till someone gets a torrent and uploads it and I download it and burn it on DVD (so hubby and I can watch together- he doesn't like watching on computer if it's avoidable). Not that I'm not used to it- we do the same thing now with Torchwood.
