So you say it's impossible to get sunburned as early as April? I say you're wrong. A new record, even for me. Now that's impressive.

Boy am I glad I wasn't wearing a shirt that was more low-cut.

Ack! I hope this isn't my fault for dragging you around outdoors so much? :(

Not at all. I burn wicked easily.

Yeaaaaaah. I've gotten sunburned in the middle of April in Wisconsin in the less than three hours I was in a prairie for a geo lab.

There is a valid reason behind having been called Casper for much of the first half of my life.

On the amusing side, my best friend in eighth grade was also called Casper...but that's because she looked like Christina Ricci, lol.

This is me laughing hysterically since there's a possibility of me moving to Tampa.

I'm allergic to the sun, but only when the sun reaches some critical angle in the sky. It achieves that critical angle in mid-April, and stays there until mid-October. Even with major sunblock, I "burst into flames" (read: break out in myriad horrible itchy tiny blisters on my hands, lower arms, and face) if I'm in the sun more than about 15 minutes.

So sunburn in April? Oh, yeah, I believe it.

Wow! That's happened to me if I'm not entirely covered up under lots of direct sunlight (say at a beach), but never to the extreme you're describing.
