The realization that I'm going back to Bennington this Sunday hits me at the most random moments. And then, I wind up feeling like I'm going to puke out of sheer nerves. The house looks like a war zone, but I haven't started packing my books or DVDs yet. If I do that, it means this is really happening.

I go meeble now.

...Well, actually I go to see Stardust with mirrored_echo. Much better than meebling, and best of all, it has nothing to do with school.

ETA: Or not. The movie theater seems to have changed its showtimes overnight. Cheeky bastards.

Hey, I'd think it odd if you weren't nervous. You've been gone for a year and then some, and the Lily who's returning to Bennington isn't the same one who left it... nor is she returning to entirely the same Bennington, for that matter. I think that a lot of the changes in you - particularly your coping skills - have been for the better, if that helps. And yet I'm sure that you'll find something about the semester to enjoy, and not just endure: your classes do sound amazing, and cool people (Wren, Nikki, Rachel, Kelly, Max, Julie, Natalie) will still be there, and you can LARP when time allows, and there might even (gasp!) be other interesting group activities a-brewing on campus.

It will be different, and it will be scary. Starting again always is. And you shouldn't expect to do it perfectly. But I do think you can do it.
