Each player starts with eight random facts/habits or embarrassing things about themselves. People who are tagged need to write their own blog about their eight things and post these rules. At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names. Don't forget to leave them a comment telling them they're tagged, and to read your blog.
1. I'm constantly fiddling with something - the most extreme example of this is my playing with small scissors while I'm on the phone. I end up cutting holes in my sleeves and not noticing till later.
2. I still go into spasms of childlike glee every time I see a fuzzy animal. There was a reason why I could never walk to school by myself: I'd have to pet every dog and cat along the way. Now, on a campus full of squirrels, chipmunks and the occasional bunny, I am so very doomed.
3. I'm not quite legally blind without my glasses, but it's close.
4. I'm really not an emotionally open person, and I tend to take the stereotypical guy approach to sharing my feelings - let's not and say we did. There are a few people I'm comfortable opening up to in a real way, but they are few, indeed. (And my mother aside, I think they're all on this friendslist.)
5. I try not to take anything too seriously. No matter how angry or upset I may sound about something, unless someone's just died or something along those lines, there's generally a trace of ironic/black humor in what I'm saying.
6. I used to have conversations with my fictional characters fairly frequently. Nowadays, my approach has shifted, with me taking on their personality if I want to know something, rather than keeping my own.
7. I keep lists. Lots and lots of lists. In the case of homework, it's pretty much the only way I can stay organized and keep up. Unless I have items to cross off, I get overwhelmed, panic, and nothing gets done.
8. I love cooking, but only for other people. To a lesser extent, this applies to other housework as well. I probably won't do my own dishes, but I might well do yours and enjoy it.
