My Laptop's Here!

It's all shiney, and silvery, and pretty! And it's got a big screen (though not as big as the full-sized computer I'm at right now). And, best of all, it's got a DVD player, so I won't be deprived of anime next year (there's no way I'm fitting a TV into a dorm room!). Only problem is, I can't figure out how to make it work.

... Yes, I did push the power button. ... No comments from the peanut gallery!

*Pushes space bar, and feels stupid* Maybe I'll name this one The Beast, too, seeing as it doesn't seem to like me any more than the regular compy does. Ebil machines. No sense of duty at all!

Is it plugged in? Sometimes the batteries don't come charged. ^^;;

Mhm. Tried this, and more. My mom took the thing in, today, to have one of her coworkers look at it, and it turns out that we just got a deffective lappie. With my luck, why am I not surprised? Luckily, the warranty covers it, and I'll be getting a free (working!) replacement.
