I think I'm going through LARP withdrawal. nevacaruso and wired_lizard have already put up with me constantly whining about it, but~

There's nothing during the summer, Intercon I is almost a year away, Intercon Midatlantic, despite being in November has no games listed yet, and damned if I'm laying down money till I know what I'm getting.

Whine. Whinge. Want LARP.

There are also several weekend-long games going on this fall - TMA at Brandeis, Secrets of the Necronomicon at WPI, and Torch of Freedom at RPI, to of which are in October. I don't know if you like weekend long games, or if you've played any of these or not, but just in case you were unaware and potentially interested, figured I'd mention. ^__^

When, exactly, is TMA, and how do I sign up? Will the info be up on the Brandeis LARP site, eventually? I really want to try that one.

I've never played in a weekend-long game, but I think it might be interesting. I just hope there'll be at least a couple of people I know also playing.

Unfortunately, I'm not going to be able to afford anything like a con in the next couple of months. Books and other start-of-semester expenses cleaned me out.

I don't want to get your hopes up TOO much, but Matt and I are planning on doing a test-run of LXHS (http://www.interactiveliterature.org/I/Schedule.php?action=25&EventId=88) at Brandeis this fall. As soon as school is back in session we'll be looking into booking space.

Dunno if Victorian-era Potterverse is your cuppa, but that's what's going on...
