So, what the shit was up with LJ earlier today?

And why was I awake early enough to notice? Fucking garbage truck. Woke me at seven. Five hours of sleep is not satisfactory.

DDOS attack. Took down LJ, Facebook, and Twitter.

From what I understand, the DoS attack was just aimed at Twitter, but other social networking sites were disrupted by Twitter going down since they're sufficiently connected.

Or the DoS hit all three that were having problems (Twitter, Facebook, LJ), and Twitter just handled it the worst of the three :P
