Something really petty to bitch about

...But I will bitch about it anyway.

You know what makes me unhappy? When you order a bagel with cream cheese from a fast food breakfast place and they hand you the bagel and the cream cheese separately. I know, I know, spreading cream cheese on a bagel is such a hardship. Woe is me.

However! Consider that this is food meant to be eaten on the near-literal run. It was, in fact, procured from the Dunkin Donuts inside Harvard Station, so assuming I'd eat it on the run is not unreasonable. As such, I'm left with two choices: attempt a culinary feat of juggling proportions, which as likely as not will end with my dropping the bagel, cheese-down, or waiting to eat till I've reached my office or classroom, by which point the previously toasted bagel has gone cold, rubbery and overall nasty.

I guess I'll stick to their breakfast sandwiches from now on. Which are nice, but there goes variety.

That's weird, because all the Dunkin Donuts I've been to (or at least as far as I can recall) have put the cream cheese on before giving it to me. Maybe write an email/letter to the manager or something?

While I do agree with you, I wind up having a problem in the opposite direction with my campus's bagel place - they do spread cream cheese on for you, but unless I ask them to go easy on it, the slather it on so thick it makes me ill. ^^;

Fast food should be fast! Driving and cream cheesing is more dangerous than cell phone talking! Tell the damn fast food place that shit be illegal!

Some cafe places but it on for you. I guess they don't know how much cream cheese you want, so they are giving you some choices. But I see what you mean.
