Jesus, Buddha and Odin, my internship seminar professor is disorganized! Reading assignment: Chapter 6 - Sociocultural Perspectives. Problem is, Chapter 6 is all on taking clinical notes, and there is no chapter in this book which deals with sociocultural perspectives. Unless it's the diversity chapter, which we all read for the second week of class, due to another mass bout of confusion.

I need one of those 'you make kitty angry/upset/about to eat your face' icons.

My brain was SO ready for the next few words to be "walk into a bar" that I actually mentally transposed them over your sentence before I finally realized that wasn't what I was reading.

It's possible that there's been an edition shift--you may want to see if her syllabus is referring to an older/newer edition than the text you acquired from the bookstore.

It's possible - but this is the edition the whole class has. (As I've mentioned, we've already had some 'which chapter are we reading again?' foo.) Moreover, this is a case where the chapter we need to read doesn't seem to exist at all. It's not a subject likely to be axed between one edition and the next, I don't think. And considering that clinical notes really don't apply to the sorts of internships you can get as an undergrad...
