So, I've been trolling the springkink comm, since that's where the good KH fic en masse seems to live, and I ran across the most recent prompts collection. Now, I'm unlikely to sign up, since I'm arse at deadlines, but some of those prompts make for excellent inspiration. Incidentally, anyone know what the etiquette might be, for yoinking prompts for one's own amusement without actually being a member of the comm, participating or otherwise?


358/2 Days, Axel/Xion: hand/glove fetishization - 'She's not sure why he's looking at her like that - all she'd asked was why he always kept his gloves on.' (March 3)

Kingdom hearts Roxas/Hayner – There’s a taste at the edge of his mind, a blur, a shifting shadow and it’s driving him insane with not knowing what he’s lost (March 10)

Kingdom Hearts, Wakka/Tidus/Selphie: Support/hurt/comfort--First Riku and Sora vanished. Then, they forgot about Sora until last week. Now Kairi's gone, too. Tidus couldn't help but wonder: Who's next? (March 10)

Kingdom Hearts, Maleficent/Larxene: bondage, "My powers come in many forms that you will never comprehend." (March 11)

Kingdom Hearts II, Fuu/Olette: massage – Fuu had ways of getting what she wanted. (March 17)

Of the prompts that appeal to me, I'm deliberately going for the more unusual ones. They're the ones I'm likely to get story ideas for almost immediately.


Also, wired_lizard has put together a KH random pairing generator. We've been playing with it and... let's just say some pairing results were unfortunate. *g* She has the list on her computer, along with commentary.

I am not 100% sure of the etiquette myself (and if worse comes to worst, you can always double-check with the moderator), but my instinct is: yoink the prompt, use the prompt, love the prompt, just add a disclaimer that indicates where you got it.

And I would read the shit out of Maleficent/Larxene, just so's you know.

That's pretty much my instinct too. If the prompter's username was indicated, I might also alert them, but that doesn't seem to be how springkink is run.

Dude! The world would be so fucked, if those two ever hooked up. It'd be awesome!
