Labor Wars this weekend

...And I'm very excited and nervous all at the same time. I'm extremely fond of my character and hope to do her justice. Costuming is mostly coming from wired_lizard's closet. It's a shame the pillbox hat she has is utterly the wrong color to go with the rest of my outfit.

Shoes will be my extremely anachronistic sandals, because I'll be damned if I'm in anything less comfortable for a game that long and active.

Right then, time to re-read character sheet and character prep.

While I believe it will be active in an INTERACTIVE sense, I don't think you'll need to be very PHYSICALLY active if you desire not to be.

If someone is going to be standing for any significant length of time (which could happen since I'm not sure there are enough chairs at BCOS for everyone to sit all the time), comfortable shoes are better than something that looks good for costuming. Being uncomfortable can take people out of character, because all they end up thinking is "my feet hurt."

How do you find out about larps? I would love to do some larping outside of Festival and Intercon but never know when/where they are.
