Oh my God, I love this episode. The cuteness! It destroys me! I'm beginning to think I'm gonna have to buy Gon and Killua plushies, with the amount of time I spend attempting to hug them, when they're on screen. They are so... aww, they just give me the warm and fuzzies. ^_^ Some of their dialogue, though... Lemme just say that I'm not sure whether the wrongness was intentional, or if it was the subbers. "I behave badly in bed," indeed!
And on the Kurapika and Leorio front, we are not disappointed either. Oh, hell, we are not disappointed! First we get more background on Kurapika, which made me wish someone would just give him a hug, already! (Leorio, I'm looking at you here.) And then, the infamous Shower Incident. XD The sad part is, I'm 90% sure I've heard of something like this actually happening at my school, not infrequently.
Conclusion: Best episode ever! (so far)
Episode 19:
Well, I'm glad someone in there thinks with the right head. Of, course, this would probably only convince some people that Kurapika is a girl.
Hey, Hanso is turning out to be pretty cool. He's even assigned himself to be Killua's babysitter. :-p
Conclusion: Nice use of tension, and developing minor characters.
Episode 20:
Dude, Kurapika's got mad Natural Leader Skillz! I must admit, the plans they have actually make sense, at least to my technologically inept mind.
Leorio, don't fucking scare people like that.
Gon is still love. <3
(3/4 through episode) WTF? Where'd the subtitles go? I know I've complained about them before, but come back, subtitles, come back! Alright, I think I can sort of handle what's going on...
Wait a fucking second... Did Hisoka just rescue Gon's ass? *rewinds* I think he just did. *blinks again* Was that Illumi, taking over the steering, when Kurapika passed out? I think it was. (Looking at spoilers? Me? *innocent*)
Conclusion: Whoo! Coolness! But my Japanese is still, in the words of Echizen, 'mada mada da ne'.
