I must be crazy. I've always said I was a one-RP gal, yet here I am, joining another. (For those not in the know, br_tenipuri was the first).

So, yeah... I'm now match_point's new Taki Haginosuke. Why? Cause Rue asked me, and I agreed. Not my usual character, true, but the previous player's take on him was really fun, so I thought, why not.

I'm learning that Taki's head is a pretty cracked-out place to be. See his last entry, and you'll understand what I mean.

As much as you're willing to put in. That's the short of it. You have to have a journal entry per week, or you get a 'punishment' (though those are one of the best parts...), anything else is up to you.

I'd say know what (if anything) has already happened to your character (though I think you do have the power of retcon, if a particular event/characterization doesn't jive), and give everything else a perfunctory glanceover. I'd also suggest looking into what's been happening with the people your chara is close to, but that could be optional. If you're going with Sana or Yuki, you shouldn't have all that much catch-up.

Pretty much, yeah. Just make sure to focus on the character, more so than the events. Let the mods know you know him.

I can send you my own application entry, as an example, if you want. It bent the rules a bit, since it didn't take place on day one, as specified, but I was accepted, so all was good. For another good (fucking amazing!) application, check out the latest entry on Ohtori's journal. That one would qualify as going above and beyond the call of duty, cause Rue's a perfectionist.
