Saw Batman Begins, yesterday. It was as awesome as people say it is! The theater's sound system made some of it too loud, but that didn't even matter, since I was so wrapped up in the story. Now, some of the other Batman movies may have been cool, but their charm lay almost entirely in the villains. None of them humanized their enigmatic lead the way this one did. He was still Batman, but he was also Bruce Wayne, and both incarnations kicked much ass.

Next up on my 'to see' list is Fantastic 4, then Dark Water, when that comes out. Beyond that, I don't know. I was originally planning to see War of the Worlds, but Tom Cruise is pissing me off so much with his drivel that it's off my itinerary. I feel kind of bad for Spielberg, but it's not as though he's hurting for my six bucks. (Perversely, I almost hope he sues Cruise for financial damages, though. Not sure how it'd work, but it's a nice thought.)

I really use to like Cruise but he's been such a self-absorbed ass, milking every type of publicity stunt. It's most disappointing and annoying.

I'm just mad about his mud slinging (I also think Brooke Shields should sue) and his uneducated doubletalk on the subject of psychology. Nothing wrong with him practicing Scientology, if he so chooses (even if I personally take issue with the whole 'religion') but keep your biases to yourself, thank you!

I just saw Fantastic Four, and yes, you must see it. It kicks ASS! I may be a bit one-sided since I never read the comics (though I got my healthy doses of Fantastic Four from TV and whatnot), but I really enjoyed it. I think I almost laughed my way through the whole movie, courtesy of Johnny and Ben. You must see it.

Yay! I've been looking forward to it. All I know of the series is the very basics, since I read other Marvel stuff (mostly X-men), and it's one big ol' universe, with lots of character crossover. So yeah. I'm hoping I can see it today, actually.

Yeah, it was really good, I was real surprised. I wasn't sure what to expect. I can't wait to see Fantastic Four. I just saw War of the Worlds and that was amazing too. Dark Water looks good as well. So many good movies lately!

Yeah, I think this is the definitive Batman movie. Just saw the Fantastic 4 this saturday, and loved it as well. You already know my spiel with WotW. Dark Water should be interesting to watch, since I just saw the original, recently.
