With no new DW-verse episodes coming for a while, I've turned to other sources of sci-fi fun. Among them, I've begun rewatching LOST. And *damn* but this stuff is still good, even on third or fourth viewing.

Having to put up with Gwen has taught me a whole new appreciation for Kate. Don't get me wrong - I liked her before - but she seems especially extra shiny now. *adds LOST to list of series to watch when faith in female characters, the quality thereof begins to flag*

Also, having watched many pilots recently, I have to say, LOST easily has one of the best. Character is plot; plot is character, and the action never lets up despite the vast amount of information that needs to be fed to the viewer. Wow.
